Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Azure & Microsoft Fabric Infrastructure Engineer to own the

infrastructure, security, reliability, and operational health of the Microsoft Fabric and Azure data

platform across Development, QA, and Production environments.

The role will be responsible for designing, deploying, securing, monitoring, and optimizing Azure

and Microsoft Fabric infrastructure, with a strong focus on Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD

automation, identity and access management, security, reliability, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

- Own the infrastructure, security, reliability, and operational health of the Microsoft Fabric

and Azure data platform across Dev, QA, and Production environments.

- Design, deploy, and maintain Azure and Microsoft Fabric infrastructure using Terraform

Infrastructure as Code (IaC), ensuring environments are repeatable, scalable, secure, and

governed.

- Administer Microsoft Fabric capacities, workspaces, OneLake, Lakehouses, Warehouses,

Pipelines, and supporting Azure services required for the data platform.

- Manage Azure DevOps, GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines to support automated infrastructure

and application deployments across Dev QA Production.

- Administer the organization's credential and secrets management framework, including

1Password Azure Key Vault integration, secret rotation, service principals, and managed

identities.

- Implement and maintain Microsoft Entra ID authentication, RBAC, networking, and security

controls across the Azure and Fabric ecosystem.

- Monitor and optimize Fabric capacity utilization, infrastructure performance, storage growth,

platform reliability, and operational costs.

- Configure and maintain monitoring, alerting, logging, backup, disaster recovery, and incident

response using native Azure and Microsoft Fabric capabilities.





- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, deployment, security, connectivity, performance,

and configuration issues across Azure, Microsoft Fabric, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines.

- Establish and maintain platform governance, security standards, operational procedures,

and engineering best practices.

- Continuously improve platform automation, deployment processes, reliability, scalability,

and cost efficiency.

- Follow and enhance existing onboarding documentation, runbooks, operational procedures,

and engineering standards.

- Collaborate with data engineering, application development, security, and DevOps

teams to ensure the platform supports business and data workloads effectively.

- Participate in incident response, root-cause analysis, and remediation activities to

maintain high availability and operational stability.

Preferred Experience

- Experience managing enterprise Azure infrastructure and Microsoft Fabric environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with Terraform and automated infrastructure provisioning.
- Experience implementing DevOps and CI/CD practices across multiple environments.
- Strong understanding of Azure identity, security, networking, RBAC, and secrets

management.

- Experience with Microsoft Fabric administration and capacity management.
- Experience troubleshooting complex cloud infrastructure, deployment, connectivity, and

performance issues.

- Solid understanding of cloud operations, reliability, monitoring, disaster recovery, and

incident management.

- Ability to work closely with engineering and data teams in a fast-paced environment.
