Role & responsibilities

- Provide L2 technical support for Google Cloud Serverless services, including Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, API Gateway, and related cloud infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues through detailed root cause analysis and effective problem-solving.
- Manage and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
- Monitor, maintain, and optimize cloud environments to ensure performance, availability, and security.
- Configure and manage IAM roles, permissions, and service accounts following security best practices.
- Support CI/CD pipeline deployments using GitHub Actions and other DevOps automation tools.
- Diagnose and resolve application, API, networking, and deployment-related issues within SLA timelines.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to implement fixes and service improvements.
- Maintain accurate technical documentation, runbooks, and troubleshooting guides.
- Provide 24x7 operational support through rotational shifts and handle customer escalations effectively.
- Ensure compliance with cloud security standards and implement configuration best practices.
- Track incidents, service requests, and change activities while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Preferred candidate profile





- 2 to 6 years of experience in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Cloud Operations, DevOps, or Technical Support environments.
- Hands-on experience with Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, API Gateway, and Serverless Architectures.
- Solid knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK.
- Experience in building and supporting CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools.
- Good understanding of IAM, Service Accounts, RBAC, and Cloud Security best practices.
- Working knowledge of Docker, containerization, Linux administration, and troubleshooting.
- Experience in monitoring, incident management, root cause analysis (RCA), and production support.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve application, deployment, networking, and API-related issues.
- Exposure to cloud storage, cloud networking, and security services within GCP.
- Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused mindset and ability to work in rotational shifts.
- GCP certifications such as Associate Cloud Engineer (ACE) or other Google Cloud certifications are preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
