Role & responsibilities

- Oversee fabric quality control processes, maintain detailed records of quality metrics and fabric performance
- Proficient in understanding fabric properties (knit and woven) and how these properties effect finished garments
- Ensure quality standards and inspection processes implemented asper GEX /Buyer standards across vendor base
- Coordinate and collaborate with mills and sourcing teams to address quality issues, FOC requirement if any.
- Maintain detailed records on fabric performance, practical know how on denim and RFD before and after quality process
- Understand and work towards process improvements at mill based on actual feedback of warehouse and manufacturing units

Qualifications

- Diploma in Textile Engineering or minimum of 5 years of experience in fabric quality control or a similar role at mill.
- Strong understanding of fabric properties with valuable communication skills on subject matter
