Role - Service Now QA (Revised JD)

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled ServiceNow QA Engineer with 4-6+ years of experience in software testing and robust hands-on expertise in testing ServiceNow applications and workflows. The ideal candidate should have experience validating standard and custom ServiceNow implementations, performing functional and regression testing, supporting UAT, and ensuring high-quality releases across the platform.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and execute test cases, test scripts, and regression test suites for ServiceNow applications.
- Validate standard ServiceNow modules and custom/bespoke workflows developed on the platform.
- Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing of ServiceNow solutions.
- Test ServiceNow integrations with external systems and third-party applications.
- Validate workflow automation, Flow Designer implementations, business rules, and configured applications.
- Identify, document, track, and verify defects through resolution.
- Prepare and maintain test plans, test cases, test evidence, and other QA documentation.
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure quality deliverables.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

- Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback from a testing perspective.

Required Skills

- 4-6+ years of QA/Test Engineering experience.
- Hands-on experience testing ServiceNow applications, workflows, and platform configurations.
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow modules such as CMDB and Data Hygiene
- ATF (Automated Test Framework) hands-on automation experience is a must
- Experience testing ServiceNow integrations, APIs, and workflow automations.
- Strong knowledge of test planning, test execution, defect management, and QA best practices.
- Experience with defect tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar.
- Ability to create and maintain comprehensive test documentation.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with ServiceNow ATF (Automated Test Framework).
- Exposure to test automation frameworks and automation best practices.
- ServiceNow certifications are an added advantage.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
