Experience
- 0- 4 years of relevant qualified experience.
- Relevant experience in strength and conditioning, athlete fitness assessment, and training programme implementation.
- Experience in planning and implementing individualized strength and conditioning programmes.
- Knowledge of fitness testing, workload monitoring, and musculoskeletal screening techniques.
- Understanding of injury prevention, recovery, and return-to-performance protocols.
- Experience working collaboratively with physiotherapists, sports scientists, coaches, and other multidisciplinary support staff would be desirable.

Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and implementing individualized strength and conditioning programmes based on athlete requirements and performance goals.
- Assist in conducting fitness testing and assessing athletes strength, power, speed, endurance, mobility, and other relevant physical parameters.
- Monitor training workloads and maintain athlete training and performance records.
- Support musculoskeletal screening to identify physical limitations, movement deficiencies, and potential injury-risk factors.
- Assist in designing and implementing injury-prevention strategies and corrective exercise programmes.
- Coordinate with physiotherapists and other sports science disciplines to support athlete recovery and rehabilitation.
- Assist in return-to-performance programmes following injury, in coordination with the multidisciplinary sports science team.
- Monitor athlete responses and adaptations to training and provide relevant feedback to coaches and sports science professionals.
- Maintain accurate records of training sessions,
fitness assessments, workload data, and athlete progress.
- Support the preparation of athlete assessment reports, performance summaries, and training recommendations.
- Assist in implementing evidence-based strength and conditioning practices and contribute to sports science research and performance-enhancement initiatives
- Assist in return-to-performance programmes following injury, in coordination with the multidisciplinary sports science team.

Educational Qualification
Mandatory:
- Bachelors/Masters Degree in Sports & Exercise Science, Sports Science, Sports Coaching & Exercise Science, Physical Education, Diploma in Sports Coaching, or Physiotherapy from a recognized University/Institution
- Relevant Strength & Conditioning (S&C;) certification/specialization.
OR
PG Diploma in Strength & Conditioning from NSNIS, Patiala.
Desirable:
- Knowledge of strength and conditioning principles, fitness testing, workload monitoring, and musculoskeletal screening.
- Understanding of injury prevention, recovery, and return-to-performance practices.
