• Hands on experience in Catia V5 (Part/surface/drawing).
• Sound knowledge in packaging study and master section creation.
• Design and development of Interior Trims from concept to final design as per the design requirements within the timeline.
• Participating in design review meetings and provide solutions.
• Knowledge in benchmarking and cost reduction.
• Identification and resolution of design related issues during development till release.

Job Description

• Extensive experience on commodities development (for e.g. Interior components like IP&CNSL;, Air vents, Ducts, Pillar Trims, Door Trims) recent part design, on-going product development changes; digital pre-assembly
• Extensive experience in developing CAD designs in CATIA, based on Engineering direction for commodities in above mentioned PMTs
• Facilitating Engineering review of the CAD using available collaborative tools such as Web-Ex, IM, emails etc.
• Understanding the geometric requirements within the context of the vehicle as defined by engineering requirements.
