Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Planning Manager Head to lead project planning and monitoring activities across construction projects. The role will be responsible for developing project plans and schedules, tracking project progress, identifying delays and risks, and ensuring timely completion of project milestones through effective coordination with project, engineering, procurement, and site teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the overall planning and scheduling function for construction projects.
- Develop detailed project schedules covering major activities, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Establish baseline project programmes and monitor actual progress against planned schedules.
- Track project progress and identify delays, bottlenecks, and critical activities.
- Prepare regular project progress reports, dashboards, and management updates.
- Coordinate with project managers, site teams, engineering, procurement, QS, and consultants to ensure planned activities are achieved.
- Review manpower, material, equipment, and resource requirements in line with project schedules.
- Monitor critical path activities and develop recovery plans for delayed activities.
- Analyse schedule deviations and recommend corrective and preventive actions.




- Conduct regular planning and progress review meetings with internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor project milestones and provide early warnings on potential delays.
- Ensure effective coordination between multiple project activities and departments.
- Review contractor and subcontractor schedules and track their performance against approved programmes.
- Maintain accurate planning records, progress reports, look-ahead schedules, and updated programmes.
- Support management in project forecasting, completion planning, and strategic execution decisions.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

- Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering / Construction Engineering or a related discipline.
- Strong experience in project planning and scheduling within the construction/real estate industry.
- Proven experience in handling planning activities for large-scale residential or building projects.
- Robust knowledge of project scheduling, progress monitoring, critical path analysis, and delay management.
- Experience coordinating with project execution, engineering, procurement, QS, contractors, and consultants.
- Strong analytical, reporting, communication, and team-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
