Role & responsibilities for Tool Design profile (Manesar and Chennai)

- To study the drawing and customer requirement. Communication with customer if any deviation and change required.
- Checking 2D drawing and 3D model
- Prepare die layout
- Select machine tonnage as per requirement
- Shot model preparation
- Core and cavity splitting
- 2D and 3D tool design preparation
- CFT meetings to repeat tools
- Ensure component casting and machining drawing release at shop floor
- Study the drawing requirements and prepared technical feasibility
- Maintain 5S department
- Ideas providing for improvement/Kaizen/UC, UA, NM

Preferred candidate profile:

- 7 - 10Yrs of Experience in Tool Design HPDC
- Knowledge of CAD software (NX)
- Knowledge of simulation result interpretation
- Knowledge of drawing studies and GD&T;
- Awareness of system related documents like IATF, ISO
