Requirements*

- 5-10 years of strong hands-on experience in SAP ABAP RAP.
- Strong ability to translate functional requirements into scalable technical

solutions.

- Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Robust expertise in:

ABAP OO, Classical ABAP, RICEF objects

S/4HANA development CDS Views, AMDP, Open SQL optimization,

code pushdown

RAP (RESTful ABAP Programming Model) CDS-based modeling, BDEF,

behavior implementations, service bindings

OData Services (SEGW, RAP-based exposure) and API integrations

- Solid understanding of SAP Clean Core principles and development of cleancore-compliant custom objects.
- Knowledge of EML (Entity Manipulation Language)
- Experience with:

Enhancements – BAdIs, User Exits, Enhancement Framework, custom

field & custom logic app.

BAPIs, RFCs, Web Services, APIs

Adobe Forms / SmartForms

- Knowledge of ATC checks with SAP best practices for S4 HANA cloud.
- Good technical understanding of functional processes in MM, SD, FI, PP,

EWM.

- Experience in custom code remediation, performance tuning, and S/4HANA

conversion activities.

- Ability to work independently in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.




- Understanding of BTP (BAS) studio.

Key

Responsibilities*

- Design, develop, and implement custom ABAP (RAP) solutions in SAP

S/4HANA.

- Build and optimize CDS Views, AMDP logic, and HANA-optimized custom

code.

- Develop and expose RAP-based business objects and OData services.
- Develop and maintain RICEF objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions,

Enhancements, Forms).

- Ensure adherence to SAP development standards, security, governance, and

clean-core guidelines.

- Collaborate with functional and Fiori/UI5 teams to deliver integrated end-to-end

solutions.

- Perform unit testing, code reviews, performance optimization, and production

issue resolution.

- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, specifications, and knowledge

transfer materials.

- Support SIT, UAT, go-live, and post-go-live activities.
