Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented ICP-MS Analyst with 24 years of experience in

trace elemental analysis using ICP-MS. The candidate will be responsible for sample

preparation, instrument operation, method development, method validation, data review,

and compliance with laboratory quality systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform elemental analysis using ICP-MS for environmental, pharmaceutical, food,

cosmetic, and industrial samples.

• Conduct sample digestion and preparation as per approved procedures.

• Develop, optimize, and validate analytical methods in accordance with applicable

guidelines and standards.

• Perform method validation activities including:

- Accuracy
- Precision
- Linearity
- Range
- Limit of Detection (LOD)

- Limit of Quantification (LOQ)
- Robustness
- Ruggedness

• Operate, calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain ICP-MS instruments.

• Review analytical data and ensure compliance with quality requirements.

• Prepare validation protocols, reports, SOPs, and technical documentation.





• Participate in internal audits, quality investigations, and corrective actions.

• Ensure compliance with ISO 17025, GLP, GMP, and laboratory safety requirements.

• Monitor instrument performance and maintain calibration records.

• Support laboratory accreditation and customer audit activities.

Required Skills:

• Robust hands-on experience with ICP-MS instrumentation.

• Experience in analytical method development and validation.

• Knowledge of ISO 17025, GLP, and laboratory quality systems.

• Familiarity with trace metal analysis and contamination control techniques.

• Good understanding of calibration standards, QC samples, and data interpretation.

• Proficiency in MS Office and laboratory software.

• Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with pharmaceutical, food, environmental, or cosmetic testing

laboratories.

• Knowledge of regulatory guidelines such as ICH, USP, EPA, or AOAC methods.

• Exposure to laboratory audits and accreditation requirements.
