Prarthna Manufacturing Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced, results-driven Assistant Manager Powder Coating to lead and manage our powder coating plant operations in Khalapur, Maharashtra. The ideal candidate will take overall responsibility for production, quality, cost efficiency, and maintaining strict safety and environmental standards.

Role & responsibilities

- Plant Operations & Management: Drive the smooth and efficient operation of the Powder Coating Plant to achieve targeted production volume, quality, cost, and delivery benchmarks.
- Process Control & Validation: Supervise and validate the 9-tank pretreatment and conveyorized powder coating processes. Strictly monitor process parameters, auto gun spray performance, and chemical bath quality.
- Chemical & ETP Management: Oversee chemical consumption, bath health, Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) operations, and pollution control systems to ensure rigid environmental compliance and protected waste disposal.
- Production Planning & Coordination: Map out daily material and chemical requirements, align resources, and coordinate with Planning, Stores, HR,



and Manufacturing teams to keep the floor running without interruption.
- Quality Assurance & Systems: Enforce quality control protocols, implement timely calibration of measuring equipment, and maintain strict adherence to Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Environmental Management Systems (EMS/IMS).
- Safety & Workplace Standards: Ensure technical documents, work instructions, and necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) are readily available. Maintain workshop excellence through continuous 5S practices and safety monitoring.

Preferred candidate profile

- Education: Graduate or Diploma Holder in Mechanical, Production, or Electrical Engineering, OR a B.Sc. in Chemistry.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience within the Powder Coating Department of an engineering industry, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
- Technical Skills:
- Practical, hands-on experience with Auto Gun Spraying, conveyorized lines, and spray-type pretreatment.
- Comprehensive knowledge of 9-tank chemical controls and ETP management.
- Familiarity with industrial statutory compliances related to pollution control and waste tracking.

- Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership capability, strong problem-solving skills, quick decision-making, and excellent cross-departmental communication.
