Position Summary

Anamacharya University, Rajampet, Andhra Pradesh is seeking a dedicated and qualified Mathematics Faculty member to deliver high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate instruction. The ideal candidate will combine strong theoretical knowledge in pure or applied mathematics with up-to-date, engaging pedagogical methods, actively engage in research, and contribute to curriculum development.

Key Responsibilities

1. Teaching and Learning

- Conduct lectures, tutorials, and practical lab sessions (e.g., using Python, MATLAB, or R for applied math/computational logic) for undergraduate and graduate programs.
- Design, update, and review course materials, syllabi, and assessment tools.
- Maintain regular contact hours, grade assignments, evaluate student performance, and provide constructive feedback.
- Mentor and advise students on academic progression, capstone projects, and career paths.

2. Research and Publication

- Conduct high-quality, independent research in an area of specialization (e.g., Algebra, Topology, Applied Statistics, Optimization, or Data Science, Calculus and more).
- Publish research papers in peer-reviewed, indexed (Scopus/SCI) national and international journals.




- Secure external research grants or participate in academic consultancies where applicable.

3. Departmental & Administrative Duties

- Participate in departmental meetings, faculty boards, and institutional committees.
- Assist with student admissions, departmental accreditation processes, and organizing academic events (seminars, workshops, conferences).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quantitative methods into adjacent tracks like computer science or engineering.

Qualifications & Requirements

- Educational Background: Ph.D. in Mathematics or a closely related quantitative discipline from a recognized and accredited institution (Candidates near completion of a Ph.D. or with a strong Master's degree like M.Sc. + NET/SET/GATE may be considered for entry-level lectureships).
- Experience: 0 to 3+ years of teaching or postdoctoral research experience in a recognized academic or research institution.

Skills:

- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in mathematical software/coding tools (MATLAB, Mathematica, Python, R).
- Ability to simplify complex mathematical concepts for diverse student bodies.
