Job Title: Salesforce CPQ Developer

Role Overview

Design, develop, troubleshoot, and enhance production Salesforce solutions with a strong emphasis on Salesforce CPQ (Steelbrick), quote-to-order workflows, pricing, renewals, and platform automation. This is a senior hands-on engineering role expected to contribute to solution design, code quality, complex defect resolution, and reliable delivery.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop, configure, extend, and maintain Salesforce CPQ (Steelbrick) solutions for product configuration, pricing, quoting, renewals, quote-to-order workflows, and related automation.
- Build scalable Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, SOQL, platform configuration, and appropriate declarative capabilities.
- Design and implement integrations with external systems using REST APIs and other approved integration patterns.
- Contribute to technical design, solution recommendations, code reviews, troubleshooting, defect resolution, and production support as required.
- Work in Git-based source control and CI/CD processes, coordinating closely with the Release Manager for branching, pull requests, deployments, and release readiness.




- Collaborate with Business Analysts and QA Engineers to ensure requirements and acceptance criteria are understood and implemented correctly.
- Maintain technical documentation, implementation notes, and other development artifacts required for supportability and handover.
- Participate actively in sprint planning, daily standups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and other Scrum activities.
- Communicate technical risks, dependencies, blockers, and anticipated delays promptly.

Required Skills & Experience

- 5+ years of Salesforce development experience with at least 3 years of hands-on production Salesforce CPQ (Steelbrick) implementation and extension experience.
- Strong understanding of Quote-to-Cash / Quote-to-Order processes, including product configuration, pricing, quoting, renewals, and order-related workflows.
- Expertise in Apex, LWC, SOQL, Flows, Salesforce platform configuration, and REST API integrations.
- Experience working in production Salesforce environments with Git-based version control and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong debugging, design, code-review, and problem-solving skills with an emphasis on scalable and maintainable solutions.
- Robust understanding of Agile/Scrum delivery and cross-functional collaboration.

- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I (Required)
- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II (Strongly Preferred)
- Salesforce Certified CPQ Specialist (Strongly Preferred)
