Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Playwright or WebdriverIO, TypeScript/JavaScript, and up-to-date test automation frameworks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automation test suites for web applications while ensuring high product quality through robust testing practices.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright or WebdriverIO.
- Create and execute end-to-end (E2E), functional, integration, regression, and smoke test cases.
- Develop automation scripts using TypeScript or JavaScript.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Collaborate closely with Developers, Product Owners, and Business Analysts to understand requirements and define test strategies.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work with development teams for resolution.
- Perform API testing using tools such as Postman,



REST Assured, or Playwright API testing.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Ensure test coverage, code quality, and automation best practices are followed.
- Generate test reports and metrics for stakeholders.

Required Skills

Technical Skills

- Strong experience in Playwright or WebdriverIO automation framework.
- Proficiency in TypeScript and/or JavaScript.
- Experience with:
- Test Frameworks: Playwright Test, Mocha, Jasmine, Cucumber
- API Testing: Postman, REST APIs
- Version Control: Git, GitHub, Bitbucket
- CI/CD Tools: Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions
- Good understanding of:
- Page Object Model (POM)
- Data-Driven Testing
- BDD/TDD methodologies
- Cross-browser testing
- Test Reporting (Allure, HTML Reports)
- Experience working with SQL databases for test validation.
