Job Summary

The Deputy Manager – Stamping is responsible for assisting in planning, coordinating, and supervising stamping shop activities to meet production, quality, cost, and delivery targets.

The role involves leading cross-functional teams, driving process improvements, ensuring tool & machine availability, and maintaining compliance with safety and quality systems.

Main Responsibilities

- Assist in daily production planning and execution.
- Monitor shift-wise production and downtime.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and take quick action on in-process defects.
- Coordinate tool/die maintenance and machine health checks.
- Lead root cause analysis for abnormalities and customer complaints.
- Drive 5S, kaizen, and other lean manufacturing initiatives.
- Monitor OEE, rejection %, rework %, and take actions to improve.
- Train and guide operators and line leaders.
- Support ECN implementation,



new part trials, and documentation.
- Report daily/weekly production and quality metrics to management.

Qualifications

- Education: B.E. / B.

Tech / Diploma in Mechanical / Production Engineering
- Experience: 8 – 12 years in a stamping/press shop environment, with experience in a supervisory role
- Skills:
- Good knowledge of stamping process, press machine operation, and tool setting
- Understanding of quality tools (5 Why, Pareto, 8D, Poka-Yoke, etc.)
- Solid leadership and team coordination skills
- Proficient in MS Office, SAP/ERP (preferred)
- Knowledge of safety standards and machine guarding practices
- Role will be based in Mexico.

Incumbent must be willing to relocate.
