Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Looker Developer/BI Analyst with 3-5 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, and Dashboard Development. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on expertise in Google Looker/Looker Studio, strong SQL capabilities, and prior experience working with banking and financial services data. The individual will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining analytical solutions that support business decision-making across various banking functions.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Looker.
- Build and manage scalable semantic models using LookML.
- Develop reusable metrics, dimensions, and KPIs to ensure consistency across reporting solutions.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and translate reporting requirements into analytical solutions.
- Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and business insights.
- Work closely with data engineering teams to ensure data quality, integrity, and availability.
- Optimize Looker dashboards and underlying SQL queries for performance and scalability.
- Support regulatory, operational, risk, finance, and customer analytics reporting requirements.
- Create and maintain documentation for dashboards, data models, and reporting workflows.
- Participate in UAT, defect resolution, and production support activities.

Required Skills

Technical Skills

- 3-5 years of experience in BI and Data Analytics.
- Hands-on experience with Looker and LookML development.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and data modeling.




- Experience with cloud data platforms such as Google BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift, or Azure Synapse.
- Understanding of ETL/ELT concepts and data warehousing principles.
- Knowledge of data visualization best practices and dashboard design standards.
- Experience working with large datasets and performance optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with Git/version control and Agile delivery methodologies.

Banking Domain Experience

- Experience working with banking datasets and business processes.
- Understanding of key banking functions such as:
- Retail Banking
- Commercial Banking
- Corporate Banking
- Lending & Credit
- Deposits
- Customer Analytics
- Regulatory Reporting
- Risk & Compliance
- Treasury and Finance Reporting

Preferred Skills

- Exposure to Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other BI visualization tools.
- Knowledge of banking KPIs and financial performance metrics.
- Understanding of data governance and regulatory reporting requirements.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Finance, or related field.
- Relevant certifications in Looker, GCP, or Data Analytics are preferred.
