Summary:
As an AEP AI-Native Engineer, requirement is to be a subject matter expert on Adobe Experience Platform who leads a team of AEP developers while remaining deeply hands-on. Analyzing requirements, proposing solutions, designing data architectures, and configuring production-grade AEP solutions — while simultaneously holding accountability for your team's delivery outcomes and quality standards.
Proficient in AEP solutions across data ingestion, Real-Time CDP, segmentation, and AJO journey orchestration, integrating AI into AEP workflows — from requirement analysis through to pipeline monitoring and observability. Set the AI-native engineering standard for the team and actively model it. Strong knowledge of AEP OOTB Agents.
Lead client-facing technical discussions, mentor junior AEP engineers, and build reusable AI-accelerated AEP patterns that scale beyond individual engagements.

Roles & Responsibilities:
a. Requirement Analysis & Data Architecture: Lead client requirement sessions use AI to synthesize data requirements, identify integration dependencies, and draft AEP solution specifications — then validate, refine, and own the recommendation design XDM schemas, identity resolution strategies, and data models for enterprise-scale deployments
b. Segmentation, Real-Time CDP & AJO: Lead design and configuration of audience segments, merge policies, identity graphs, and AJO customer journeys use AI to generate segment logic proposals, journey test scenarios, and campaign validation scripts
c. API Integration, Query Service & AI Quality: Design and deliver AEP API integrations and complex Query Service SQL workloads using AI-assisted code generation validate all AI-generated AEP configurations and data models before production govern integration patterns across the team
d. Prompt Engineering & Governance Standards: Build and maintain shared AEP-specific prompt libraries for schema generation, segment queries, journey logic, and API integration define team-level AI tooling standards, code review workflows, and quality gates for AI-generated output
e. Governance & Compliance: Own data governance, consent management, and DULE policy enforcement across the AEP workstream use AI to surface policy violations, identify data quality anomalies, and generate remediation recommendations
f. Pipeline Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Lead monitoring of AEP data pipelines, ingestion jobs, and journey executions apply AI-assisted diagnostics to root-cause failures and present findings to client stakeholders in clear business terms.

Team Management & Mentoring: Lead and coordinate the AEP team own sprint velocity, quality, and delivery milestones mentor junior engineers on AEP best practices and AI-native development habits.
h. Client Engagement & Stakeholder Communication: Lead technical design sessions, data workshops, and solution walkthroughs with client engineering and marketing technology teams track and present AI productivity and quality ROI KPIs to project leads and business owners
i. Agile Delivery & Knowledge Sharing: Lead sprint ceremonies build reusable AEP accelerators and AI workflow patterns drive continuous improvement in delivery quality and AI integration maturity across the workstream.

a. AEP Core: Deep proficiency in Adobe Experience Platform — XDM schema design, dataset management, identity resolution, and Real-Time CDP configuration at enterprise scale
b. Data Ingestion & Pipelines: Hands-on expertise with AEP batch and streaming data ingestion, source connectors, data flow configuration, and pipeline governance
c. Segmentation & Real-Time CDP: Advanced experience building audience segments, merge policies, identity graph configurations, and activation workflows in Real-Time CDP
d. Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO): Proficiency in AJO journey design — triggers, conditions, actions, message personalization, and campaign configuration — in production delivery contexts
e. AEP Query Service: Advanced proficiency in AEP Query Service — complex SQL workloads, dataset analysis, and query optimization at scale
f. API Development & Integration: Strong experience with AEP APIs (Profile, Segmentation, Data Ingestion, Flow Service) and RESTful integration patterns ability to govern integration architecture across the team
g. Data Governance & Privacy: Working expertise in AEP data governance frameworks, DULE policy enforcement, consent management, and privacy configuration
h. AI-Assisted Development Leadership: Demonstrated experience setting team-level standards for AI-assisted AEP development proficient use of GitHub Copilot and Claude for schema generation, query optimization, journey configuration, and documentation
i. LLM API Integration: Production experience calling LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar) in application code — token management, latency, and cost trade-offs understood
j. Cloud & DevOps: Cloud-native maturity: AWS, Azure, or GCP CI/CD pipelines, and data platform infrastructure fundamentals
k. Agentic & RAG: Expert in agentic orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph)



and RAG pipeline fundamentals understanding of how AEP data architecture and APIs connect to AI agent systems
l. Programming Languages: Advanced SQL strong JavaScript Python
m. Agile Leadership: Experienced leading Agile delivery teams confident running sprint ceremonies with workstream-level delivery accountability
n. Experience with AEP Destinations — configuring data activation to advertising, analytics, and marketing platforms
o. Familiarity with Customer AI and Attribution AI within AEP's Intelligent Services
p. Experience with Adobe Analytics migration to AEP and cross-platform data unification
q. Understanding of CDP architecture patterns and enterprise MarTech ecosystem integration

Additional Information:
a. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field
b. 5+ years of AEP development experience in production environments
c. Minimum 1 year of hands-on AI-assisted development in a production AEP delivery context — demonstrable through specific examples, not passive exposure
d. Demonstrated team lead or senior individual contributor experience with delivery accountability alongside hands-on technical contribution
e. A 15-year full time education background is required
