Job description - Senior Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

● Plan, write & execute test cases for the requirements provided.

● Ensure 100% test coverage for all functionality & feature sets to be tested.

● Thorough documentation of the tests performed & defects logged.

● Retesting defects to closure.

● Participating in requirement gathering sessions to understand the functionality & customer expectations better.

● Come up with cutting-edge ways to test a system for offering the best quality product to the customer.

● Establish and evolve formal QA processes, ensuring that the team is using industry-accepted best practices.

● Oversee all aspects of quality assurance including establishing metrics, applying industry best practices, and developing new tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met.





● Work closely with the business analyst & the customer to understand the business need & ensure that the solutions developed are in line with their vision.

Ideal Candidate

● 4-6 years of experience in testing & quality assurance

● 3-4 years of experience in manual testing of web applications.

● Understanding of testing methodologies & all stages of testing.

● Experience in testing BPM applications would be a plus.

● Experience in automation testing tool would be a plus.
