Summary:

UST is looking for Senior Backend/API Security Developer (B2 Grade) Band / Level B2 | Senior Engineer / Lead Engineer

Primary Technology

Stack Backend: Python / Node.js / Java Cloud Platform: AWS API Technologies: REST APIs, Microservices, GraphQL, OpenAPI/Swagger Security: OAuth 2.0, OIDC, JWT, OWASP API Security Top 10, Encryption, IAM AWS Services: API Gateway, Lambda, ECS/EKS, IAM, Secrets Manager, KMS, WAF, CloudWatch DevOps: Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Jenkins), SonarQube Data Stores: PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, MongoDB Role Summary We are seeking a Senior Backend/API Security Developer (B2) with robust expertise in Python, Node.js, or Java and AWS, responsible for designing, developing, and securing enterprise-grade APIs that handle highly sensitive data. The ideal candidate will drive API security standards, implement secure architecture patterns, and serve as a key technical leader in building a world-class API engineering practice. Experience with cloud-native development, OWASP API Security standards, OAuth2/OIDC, and large-scale microservices architectures is required.
