Role Description The Web Testing Engineer role is a full-time hybrid position based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, with flexibility for partial work from home. This role is responsible for planning, designing, and executing test scenarios for web applications to ensure high-quality, reliable, and secure user experiences. Day-to-day tasks include creating and maintaining test cases, performing functional and regression testing, documenting test results, and collaborating with developers, product managers, and designers to identify, report, and resolve defects.

Engineer will participate in test planning, contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and tools, and help optimize release cycles through efficient test execution and automation where applicable.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess solid skills in Test Engineering and overall Testing methodologies.
- Candidates should be proficient in Test Execution and detailed Test Case design and maintenance.
- Candidates should have hands-on experience with Functional Testing of web applications.
- Familiarity with web technologies, browsers, and responsive design testing is beneficial.
- Experience with test management tools and issue tracking systems (e.g., Jira, TestRail) is preferred.
- Knowledge of basic test automation concepts and scripting is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills, with attention to detail.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate clearly in English.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
