Summary We are looking for a passionate and skilled ArduPilot Embedded Systems Engineer to join our embedded development team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Embedded C/C , microcontrollers, sensor integration, firmware development, and real-time systems, with hands-on experience working with ArduPilot or similar autopilot firmware.

Key Responsibilities:

- Firmware Architecture: Design, optimize, and maintain custom autopilot firmware built on ArduPilot frameworks.
- Sensor Integration & Fusion: Interface a wide array of onboard sensors (IMUs, GPS, LiDAR, Radar, barometers) and implement real-time data filtering and sensor fusion algorithms.
- Driver Development: Write and maintain robust device drivers utilizing communication protocols like I2C, SPI, UART, and CAN/CAN-FD.
- Comprehensive Testing: Validate firmware integrity across multiple environments, including SITL (Software-in-the-Loop) simulations, hardware-in-the-loop benches, and live flight tests.
- Diagnostics & Debugging: Dive deep into flight logs, interpret hardware schematics and datasheets, and resolve complex system-level bottlenecks.

Required Skills:

- Experience:



2 years of professional engineering background, with at least 1 year dedicated to embedded software or firmware development.
- Programming Proficiency: Strong command of C/C and Python for embedded environments. (Familiarity with Rust is considered a robust bonus).
- Hardware Knowledge: Proven hands-on experience with ARM microcontrollers, real-time operating systems (RTOS), and multi-threaded embedded applications.
- Protocol Fluency: Solid grasp of standard micro-controller communication buses (I2C, SPI, UART, CAN/CAN-FD, RS232/RS485).
- Analytical Mindset: Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills with a natural ability to read electrical schematics and hardware documentation.
- Autonomous Systems & UAV Experience (Preferred):
- Practical experience modifying or deploying ArduPilot or equivalent open-source autopilot stacks.
- Exposure to simulation platforms (such as ArduPilot SITL) for virtual flight testing.
- Working knowledge of Ground Control Station software (e.g., Mission Planner).
- Familiarity with flight dynamics, control theory (PID loops), and filtering techniques.
