We are looking for an experienced Senior QA Engineer to oversee our quality assurance team. You will be required to manage all aspects of software and product testing within the company. This may include developing test strategies, drawing up test documents, identifying defects, and reviewing QA reports.

To ensure success as a Senior QA Engineer, you should have extensive experience in manual test, high-level problem-solving skills, and the ability to project management. A top-notch senior QA engineer ensures the smooth running of the QE department and, ultimately, customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

- Understand business requirements, product features, and system integrations to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Design, create, maintain, and execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end test cases.
- Perform manual testing across web, mobile, API, and integrated third-party systems.
- Identify, document, track, and validate defects using agreed defect management processes and tools.
- Participate in requirement reviews, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release planning activities.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Business Analysts, Developers, Architects, and Operations teams to ensure product quality.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities by assisting business users, external testing partners, and stakeholders with test execution, defect triage, issue reproduction, and test progress tracking.
- Execute functional and regression testing within agreed timelines while ensuring quality standards are met.
- Perform exploratory testing to identify usability, integration,



and edge-case issues.
- Review system behavior, analyze quality issues, and recommend suitable testing approaches and solutions based on business and technical understanding.
- Support deployment activities through pre-release validation, deployment verification, smoke testing, sanity testing, and post-deployment validation.
- Participate in production readiness reviews and release validation activities.
- Support Priority 1 (P1) and Priority 2 (P2) incidents by assisting in issue validation, impact assessment, defect verification, and production testing activities.
- Participate in weekly production sanity testing and post-release verification activities.
- Assist in test environment setup, test data preparation, workplace validation, and configuration verification.
- Maintain test documentation including test plans, test cases, test reports, test execution evidence, and quality metrics.
- Contribute to the maintenance and execution of regression test suites, including support for automation initiatives where applicable.
- Participate in defect triage sessions, root cause analysis discussions, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Provide timely status updates, risk assessments, and testing reports to project stakeholders.
- Mentor junior QA engineers and share testing best practices, domain knowledge, and technical expertise.
- Remain available to support critical testing activities, production releases, and quality-related escalations when required.

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,300,000.00 per year
