Qualification: Full time B.Tech (Electrical / Mechanical / Civil)
Industry Preference: Renewable Energy (IPP preferred)
Key Responsibilities:
- Proven track record of executing wind projects (at least 100 MW cumulative capacity), preferably for IPPs.
- Define, plan, and execute the entire lifecycle of Wind Power Projects: pre-construction, construction, commissioning, and handover.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and cost estimates.
- Lead and manage multidisciplinary site teams including civil, electrical, and WTG installation contractors.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, and external vendors to resolve all project issues related to contracts, logistics, design, and execution.
- Drive cross-functional discussions with regulatory bodies and local administration for smooth project implementation.
- Ensure all HSE protocols are followed rigorously during construction and commissioning.
- Conduct regular project review meetings and communicate effectively with senior management and internal stakeholders.
- Track key project metrics and ensure that the project is delivered on time and within budget.
- Manage project risks, escalate critical issues, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Maintain all project documentation and ensure knowledge transfer across teams.
Key Skills & Attributes:
- Experience in WTG installation, transmission line execution, and substation commissioning.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and drive results under pressure.
- Knowledge of wind resource assessment, micrositing, and turbine technology is an advantage.
- Excellent command over project management tools and reporting systems.
