Role Description The Senior Contract Manager is a full time, on-site role based in Bengaluru, responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of construction contracts. This includes drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure clear terms, risk mitigation, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. The role involves monitoring contract performance, managing variations and claims, and collaborating closely with project managers, finance, and legal teams to support project delivery within scope, time, and budget.

Manager will maintain accurate contract documentation, lead contract-related meetings, and provide guidance on contractual obligations and best practices. This position also supports continuous improvement in contract templates, policies,



and processes to strengthen commercial outcomes and stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

- Robust contract management skills, including drafting, reviewing, negotiation, and administration of construction contracts.
- Proficiency in risk assessment, claims management, and dispute resolution within the construction or real estate sector.
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards governing construction contracts and commercial agreements.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with project management, procurement, finance, and legal teams to support project delivery.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Experience in managing multiple contracts and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field; advanced qualifications are an advantage.
- Several years of progressive experience in contract management or commercial management, preferably in construction or infrastructure.
- Comfort with using contract management software and standard office applications for reporting and documentation.
- Demonstrated integrity, sound judgment, and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving contractual issues.
