Role Summary

We are looking for a Lead AI Developer to drive the design, development, and deployment of AI/ML solutions on enterprise-scale projects. This role requires someone who can operate across the full stack — from data pipelines and model development to production-grade backend/frontend integration and cloud deployment — while also mentoring a small team and owning technical decisions end-to-end.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the architecture and design of AI/ML systems for enterprise clients, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
- Own the full lifecycle of AI solution delivery — problem framing, data strategy, model development, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.
- Design and implement LLM-based applications (RAG pipelines, agentic workflows, fine-tuning, prompt engineering) where applicable to business use cases.
- Build and maintain fullstack components (APIs, backend services, and frontend integrations) that consume AI/ML models in production.
- Architect and manage AI/ML infrastructure on AWS (SageMaker, Bedrock, Lambda, EC2, S3, ECS/EKS, API Gateway, etc.).
- Set up MLOps practices — CI/CD for models, versioning, monitoring, and retraining pipelines.
- Collaborate with product managers, data engineers, and client stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Review code, mentor junior/mid-level developers, and enforce engineering best practices.
- Evaluate and recommend recent AI tools, frameworks, and architectures relevant to enterprise needs.
- Ensure solutions comply with data privacy, security, and enterprise governance standards.

Must-Have Skills

- 6+ years of overall software development experience,



with a significant portion in AI/ML solution delivery on enterprise-level projects.
- Strong grasp of core AI/ML concepts: supervised/unsupervised learning, deep learning, NLP, computer vision (as relevant), model evaluation, and deployment strategies.
- Hands-on experience with LLMs — RAG, vector databases, prompt engineering, agent frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, or similar).
- Proficiency in Python for AI/ML development (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, Hugging Face — as applicable).
- Strong AWS expertise — SageMaker, Bedrock, Lambda, EC2, S3, IAM, and related services for deploying and scaling AI workloads.
- Solid fullstack development knowledge — backend (Python/Node.js/Java — flexible based on client stack) and frontend (React/Angular/Vue).
- Experience with REST/GraphQL API design and microservices architecture.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong understanding of databases — both SQL and NoSQL, plus vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, FAISS, or similar).
- Experience leading or mentoring a technical team, with strong ownership of deliverables.

Good-to-Have Skills

- Exposure to MLOps tools (MLflow, Kubeflow, Airflow).
- Experience with enterprise integration patterns (SSO, enterprise auth, legacy system integration).
- Prior experience in a client-facing/consulting environment.
- Certifications in AWS (AI/ML Specialty or Solutions Architect) are a plus.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Work Mode

- Hybrid — based out of Pune; expected to work from the office/client location per company policy (specific days to be confirmed with the client).

Compensation

- ₹25–30 LPA, depending on experience and interview performance.
