Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Cloud HCM Consultant specializing in the Compensation module to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on implementation experience designing, configuring, and deploying compensation solutions that support base pay, variable pay, and total compensation strategies within Oracle Cloud HCM.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support end-to-end implementations, upgrades, and rollouts of Oracle Cloud Compensation module.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into functional design documents (FDDs).
- Configure Compensation Plans, Salary Basis, Compensation Structures, Budgeting, and Total Compensation Statements.
- Set up and manage annual/off-cycle Compensation Cycles, including workflows, approvals, and eligibility rules.
- Configure and support Individual Compensation and Workforce Compensation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional HCM teams (Core HR, Payroll, Recruiting) to ensure seamless data flow and integration.
- Perform unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Prepare functional specifications for reports, interfaces, conversions, and extensions (RICE) related to Compensation.
- Provide post-production support, troubleshoot issues, and recommend process improvements.
- Conduct end-user training and prepare functional documentation/SOPs.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5–6 years of overall HCM experience with at least 2–3 full-cycle Oracle Cloud HCM implementations focused on Compensation.
- Strong hands-on configuration experience with Oracle Cloud Compensation, including Workforce Compensation and Individual Compensation.
- Working knowledge of related modules: Core HR, Payroll, and/or Talent Management (preferred).
- Experience with Fast Formulas as they relate to compensation eligibility and calculations (preferred).
- Strong understanding of compensation planning cycles, budgeting, and approval workflows.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Oracle Cloud HCM Compensation Certification (highly preferred).
- Experience with OTBI/BI Publisher reporting related to Compensation.
- Prior experience working in a consulting/client-facing environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 5–6 years of relevant Oracle Cloud HCM experience with proven hands-on implementation/Support background (not administration-only).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with business stakeholders and technical teams.
