About the Role

We are looking for a **Network Test Engineer – Cybersecurity** to join our engineering/QA team and help validate the **performance, reliability, interoperability, and security** of networking and cybersecurity products.

The ideal candidate will have robust networking fundamentals, hands-on experience with network/security testing, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to automate test scenarios using **Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages**.
Key Responsibilities

* Design, develop, and execute test plans for networking and cybersecurity products.

* Perform **functional, integration, regression, performance, scalability, and interoperability testing**.

* Test networking protocols and technologies including **TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP/HTTPS, TLS, VPN, VLAN, NAT, routing, and switching**.

* Test security products such as **firewalls, IDS/IPS, secure gateways,



VPNs, proxies, and network-monitoring solutions**.

* Create realistic network traffic and security/attack scenarios to evaluate product behavior and resilience.

* Develop and maintain automated test cases and integrate automation into **CI/CD pipelines**.

* Analyze **packet captures, logs, alerts, and system metrics** to troubleshoot issues and identify performance bottlenecks.

* Reproduce customer-reported issues and collaborate with developers on **root-cause analysis and defect resolution**.

* Set up, configure, and maintain physical and virtual network test environments.

* Document test results, defects, risks, and release-readiness recommendations.

* Participate in product requirement and technical design reviews.

* Continuously improve test methodologies, automation, tools, and quality standards.
