Eximius Next is looking for a hands-on Accounting & Payroll Lead to manage delivery for our SME clients in Malaysia and Singapore.

This is not only an accounting review role. The person will be expected to take day-to-day ownership of the team’s work and ensure that client deliverables are accurate, complete and on time.

Key responsibilities:
- Allocate and prioritise accounting and payroll tasks across the team
- Track deadlines, pending items and workload, and ensure timely closure
- Review monthly accounts, bank reconciliations, AP/AR, balance-sheet schedules and month-end work
- Review payroll, payslips and statutory workings before submission
- Identify errors, unusual balances and incomplete work before it reaches the client
- Guide and coach accountants and payroll executives and improve their quality of work
- Follow up on open issues and ensure nothing remains unattended
- Manage client queries and ensure professional, timely communication
- Improve checklists,



workflows and ways of working to reduce errors and rework
- Take ownership of the overall quality and completion of assigned client work

We are looking for someone with 7–10 years of practical accounting experience who is comfortable working at ledger and transaction level while also managing a small team.

Experience with SME accounting, payroll, Xero, QuickBooks or similar systems would be preferred. Malaysia or Singapore experience would be an advantage.

Robust accounting fundamentals, attention to detail, ownership, task management and good written English are essential.

Pay: ₹14,670.85 - ₹33,913.56 per month
