Business Process Intern

About the Role

We are looking for a Business Process Intern who is analytical, detail-oriented, and interested in understanding how businesses operate and improve.

The intern will work closely with cross-functional teams to map processes, track operational performance, identify gaps, maintain dashboards, and support process improvement initiatives.

This role is ideal for someone who wants hands-on exposure to Business Analysis, Operations, Revenue Operations, Process Excellence, and Management Reporting.

Key Responsibilities

1. Process & Workflow Management
- Understand and document existing business processes and workflows.
- Create and maintain SOPs, process documents, checklists, and workflow trackers.
- Map As-Is and To-Be processes and identify bottlenecks.
- Support implementation of improved processes across teams.
- Monitor whether defined processes and SLAs are being followed.

Data & KPI Management
- Maintain daily and weekly operational trackers.
- Collect, validate, and analyse data from different teams.
- Prepare KPI dashboards and performance reports using Excel/Google Sheets.
- Track team-wise and process-wise performance against targets.
- Identify trends, gaps, delays, and inconsistencies in operational data.

3. Process Improvement
- Identify repetitive, inefficient, or manual processes.
- Analyse the root cause of operational issues.
- Support RCA, gap analysis, and process improvement projects.
- Recommend practical solutions to improve productivity, turnaround time, quality, and efficiency.
- Track the implementation and impact of improvement initiatives.

4. Cross-Functional Coordination
- Coordinate with teams such as Sales, Operations, HR, Accounts, and Marketing to collect information and close process gaps.
- Follow up on pending actions and maintain action trackers.
