The product is a gamified, quiz-first app that explores African proverbs, traditions, rites of passage, festivals, folklore, and customs. Designed for Africans and the diaspora, Superfan.ng aims to make learning engaging, interactive, and culturally relevant. The team is dedicated to preserving and celebrating African heritage while building a modern, accessible digital learning experience.

Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a UX Designer at Superfan.ng (SPNG). The UX Designer will be responsible for understanding user needs, conducting user research, and translating insights into intuitive, engaging product experiences for the quiz-first app. Day-to-day tasks include creating user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes, collaborating closely with product, engineering, and content teams to refine features and interactions. The UX Designer will also work on visual design elements that support the brand, perform usability testing,



iterate on designs based on feedback, and contribute to a cohesive design system that supports continuous product improvement.

Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Design Thinking and User Experience (UX), with the ability to translate complex requirements into straightforward, user-centered solutions.
- Experience conducting User Research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, and synthesizing findings into actionable design recommendations.
- Proficiency in Visual Design and Prototyping using modern design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD) to create clear, high-quality interfaces and interactive prototypes.
- Ability to design end-to-end experiences, from user flows to interaction details, ensuring coherence across web and mobile platforms.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in cross-functional remote teams.
