Job Summary

We are looking for a responsible and experienced Safety Engineer to ensure safe working practices across MEP project activities. The candidate will be responsible for implementing HSE policies, conducting site inspections, identifying hazards, and ensuring compliance with safety standards and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor company and project-specific Health, Safety & Workplace (HSE) policies.
- Conduct regular safety inspections of MEP project sites.
- Identify hazards and assess risks associated with Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Fire Fighting, and other MEP activities.
- Conduct Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Risk Assessments, and prepare appropriate control measures.
- Ensure workers follow proper safety procedures and use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Conduct daily toolbox talks and safety awareness programs for workers and supervisors.
- Monitor work activities such as electrical works, welding, cutting, lifting, working at height, scaffolding, excavation, and confined-space work.




- Ensure proper implementation of Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems.
- Inspect scaffolding, ladders, lifting equipment, electrical tools, machinery, and other safety equipment.
- Monitor compliance with electrical safety requirements, including proper earthing, cable management, isolation, and LOTO procedures where applicable.
- Ensure proper barricading, signage, access control, and housekeeping at the project site.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions and prepare reports.
- Recommend corrective and preventive actions and follow up until closure.
- Maintain safety records, inspection reports, training records, permits, and incident documentation.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and client safety teams.
- Conduct safety induction programs for new employees, workers, and subcontractors.
