Job Summary The Office Admin, HR & Digital Operations professional will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of Curio Education’s office, managing HR and administrative processes, preparing management reports and presentations, handling Excel/MIS requirements, coordinating travel, and managing key digital platforms including the Curio App and iXpress LMS.
The role requires a highly organised, tech-comfortable, responsible, and proactive individual who can coordinate effectively with Management, Employees, Sales Team, Academic Team, Schools, Franchisees, Vendors, and Technology Partners.
Key Responsibilities
1. Office Administration
- Manage the day-to-day functioning of the Curio Education office.
- Ensure the office remains organised, professional, clean, and functional.
- Maintain stationery, pantry supplies, office consumables, and other requirements.
- Coordinate repair and maintenance of office equipment, internet, computers, printers, ACs, furniture, and facilities.
- Maintain office asset records.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers.
- Maintain visitor records and meeting arrangements.
- Ensure administrative requirements of all departments are completed on time.
2. Employee Attendance & Leave Management
- Maintain daily employee attendance.
- Track late arrivals, absenteeism, working hours, and leave.
- Maintain monthly leave records.
- Coordinate leave approvals with reporting managers.
- Prepare attendance summaries for payroll.
- Maintain holiday and compensatory-off records.
3. Recruitment Coordination
- Coordinate hiring requirements with Management and Department Heads.
- Post vacancies on recruitment platforms.
- Screen resumes and shortlist candidates.
- Conduct preliminary HR screening.
- Schedule interviews.
- Coordinate candidate communication and follow-ups.
- Maintain recruitment trackers.
- Track selected candidates until joining.
- Maintain manpower and vacancy reports.
4. Employee Joining & Onboarding
- Collect employee documents.
- Prepare offer and appointment letters.
- Complete employee information forms.
- Create and maintain employee files.
- Coordinate email IDs, systems, attendance access, and resources.
- Explain office policies, timings, leave rules, and reporting structures.
- Coordinate employee induction and onboarding.
5. Employee Documentation & HR Records
Maintain updated and confidential employee records including:
- Resumes
- Identification documents
- Educational certificates
- Previous employment records
- Offer and appointment letters
- Salary information
- Attendance and leave records
- Performance records
- Increment and promotion letters
- Warning letters
- Resignation and exit documents
6. HR Policies & Processes
- Support Management in implementing HR policies.
- Communicate policies to employees.
- Monitor compliance with:
- Attendance
- Leave
- Working hours
- Workplace discipline
- Confidentiality
- Performance standards
- Code of conduct
- Maintain proper HR documentation.
7. Payroll Coordination
- Prepare monthly attendance and leave inputs.
- Coordinate salary data with Accounts and Management.
- Maintain records of salary revisions, incentives, deductions, advances, and reimbursements.
- Ensure payroll inputs are timely and accurate.
- Coordinate routine salary-related queries.
8. PowerPoint Presentation Creation The candidate should be able to independently prepare professional PowerPoint presentations for Curio Education and iXpress.
Presentations may include
- Sales presentations
- School proposal presentations
- Management review presentations
- Franchise presentations
- Teacher training presentations
- Parent orientation presentations
- Monthly and quarterly business reviews
- Internal meeting presentations
- Project presentations
- Reports and dashboards
The candidate should be able to convert raw information, data, and Management inputs into structured and skilled presentations while maintaining Curio and iXpress branding.
9. Excel, MIS & Data Management
- Create and maintain Excel trackers.
- Prepare Management MIS reports.
- Maintain employee and recruitment databases.
- Maintain school and franchisee databases.
- Prepare sales and collection trackers.
- Maintain attendance and leave reports.
- Prepare operational trackers.
- Create monthly performance sheets.
- Prepare basic dashboards and summaries.
- Work confidently with formulas, filters, sorting, conditional formatting, pivot tables, and data analysis.
- Verify data before sharing reports.
10. Curio App Management
- Create and manage school accounts.
- Create teacher and user logins.
- Maintain student and school information.
- Coordinate student data uploads.
- Manage access rights.
- Coordinate academic content uploads.
- Monitor app usage.
- Support schools and teachers with basic app-related queries.
- Maintain user credentials and records.
- Coordinate with the technical team regarding issues.
- Track issues until resolution.
- Test new features where required.
- Prepare usage reports for Management.
- Highlight schools with low app usage or recurring technical issues.
11. iXpress LMS Management
- Create franchisee, centre, teacher, and student accounts.
- Manage user credentials and access.
- Add new centres to the LMS.
- Update centre and student information.
- Upload and organise learning content.
- Assign modules, courses, assessments, and resources.
- Monitor student and centre activity.
- Maintain student enrolment data.
- Coordinate assessment uploads and reports.
- Support franchisees and teachers with LMS queries.
- Coordinate technical issues with the technology team.
- Test system updates.
- Maintain issue-resolution records.
- Prepare LMS usage reports for Management.
12. Digital User Support
- Respond to basic Curio App and iXpress LMS queries.
- Guide teachers, schools, franchisees, and employees.
- Maintain an issue tracker.
- Categorise issues into user, data, content, or technical issues.
- Resolve basic issues internally.
- Escalate technical problems where required.
- Follow up until closure.
13. Travel Planning & Management The candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing official travel requirements for Management and team members.
Responsibilities include
- Collecting travel requirements from Management and employees.
- Planning travel based on meetings, school visits, training schedules, events, and business requirements.
- Preparing complete travel itineraries.
- Booking flights, trains, buses, cabs, and other transport.
- Booking hotels and accommodation.
- Comparing travel options to achieve the best balance of cost, convenience, and timing.
- Obtaining required travel approvals before booking.
- Coordinating airport, railway station, and local transfers.
- Sharing tickets, hotel vouchers, contact details, and travel plans with employees.
- Managing changes, cancellations, and rescheduling.
- Coordinating travel for:
- Sales visits
- School meetings
- Teacher training
- Parent orientations
- Franchise meetings
- Conferences
- Exhibitions
- Management travel
- Maintaining a Travel Calendar for upcoming trips.
- Coordinating group travel where multiple team members are travelling together.
- Maintaining records of travel bookings and expenses.
- Collecting travel bills and supporting documents.
- Coordinating reimbursement documentation with Accounts.
- Tracking travel advances and settlements.
- Maintaining preferred hotel, airline, cab, and travel-agent databases.
- Negotiating rates with travel vendors wherever possible.
- Ensuring travel arrangements are completed well in advance.
- Providing support to travelling employees in case of delays, cancellations, or booking-related issues.
14. Meetings & Management Support
- Schedule Management meetings.
- Prepare agendas.
- Prepare reports, Excel sheets, and PPTs before meetings.
- Record Minutes of Meetings where required.
- Maintain action-point trackers.
- Follow up with departments regarding pending tasks.
- Maintain a Management Action Tracker.
- Prepare weekly progress reports.
15. Performance Management Support
- Maintain employee KRAs and KPIs.
- Coordinate performance reviews.
- Track probation and confirmation dates.
- Follow up with reporting managers for employee reviews.
- Maintain appraisal records.
- Prepare confirmation, increment, promotion, or extension letters after approval.
16. Employee Engagement & Communication
- Coordinate employee meetings and engagement activities.
- Organise birthdays, festivals, and celebrations.
- Communicate office notices and announcements.
- Address routine employee concerns.
- Support smooth interdepartmental communication.
17. Office Discipline
- Ensure adherence to office timings and company policies.
- Monitor workplace discipline.
- Report repeated attendance or behavioural concerns to Management.
- Maintain appropriate documentation.
- Protect confidential HR and Management information.
18. Vendor & Expense Coordination
Manage vendors related to
- Office supplies
- Printing
- Housekeeping
- Internet
- IT support
- Software
- Courier
- Maintenance
- Travel
- Hotels
- Cab services
- Technology platforms
Responsibilities include checking bills, coordinating approvals, maintaining vendor records, tracking expenses, and ensuring service quality.
19. Exit & Full-and-Final Coordination
- Receive and process resignations.
- Track notice periods.
- Coordinate handovers.
- Collect company assets.
- Disable digital access.
- Coordinate relieving and experience letters.
- Coordinate full-and-final settlement with Accounts.
- Update employee records.
20. Statutory & Compliance Coordination
Coordinate documentation, wherever applicable, relating to:
- Employee contracts
- PF
- ESI
- Professional Tax
- POSH
- Shops & Establishment requirements
- Other applicable employment regulations
Daily Responsibilities A typical day may include:
- Reviewing employee attendance and leave.
- Managing office requirements.
- Updating recruitment status.
- Checking Curio App and iXpress LMS requirements.
- Preparing Excel trackers and MIS.
- Creating or updating PowerPoint presentations.
- Coordinating travel requirements and bookings.
- Scheduling interviews and meetings.
- Updating digital-platform users and records.
- Following up with vendors.
- Supporting schools and franchisees with system queries.
- Tracking Management action points.
- Sharing important updates with Management.

Qualification
- Graduate in any discipline.
- MBA/PGDM in HR, Administration, or Operations preferred.
- Good working knowledge of computers and digital platforms.
Experience
- 2–5 years of experience in HR, Administration, Office Operations, Executive Support, or Digital Operations.
- Experience in an education company, EdTech company, publishing organisation, school, or growing business will be preferred.
