Position: Logistics & Warehouse Manager Key Responsibilities 1. Manage overall warehouse, transportation and logistics operations across locations.
- Coordinate loading, unloading, dispatches, stock reconciliation and warehouse requirements.
- Arrange vehicles for dispatches and ensure minimum turnaround time for loading/unloading.
- Build and maintain a network of 15–20 local transporters per warehouse .
- Develop and independently manage the Hyderabad local transport network .
- Manage company-owned vehicles, daily trips, vehicle tracking and trip planning.
- Ensure timely vehicle repair, maintenance and statutory compliance including FASTag, Road Tax, Fitness, Insurance and PUC.
- Optimize vehicle utilization, routes and transportation costs.
- Identify, negotiate and manage local transport vendors.
- Manage primary transportation from ports to warehouses/customer locations .
- Ensure timely dispatch of exhibition and other priority materials.
- Monitor physical stock verification and resolve stock discrepancies.
- Handle transit-damage insurance claims and ensure timely follow-up and settlement.
- Prepare weekly truck-wise P&L; and mileage reports .
- Maintain logistics records, MIS and updates in the logistics application.
- Coordinate with Sales, Purchase and Warehouse teams for smooth logistics operations.
- Manage logistics operations as an independent cost center , focusing on cost control and profitability.
- Travel to warehouses for stock differences, operational issues or emergencies.
Qualification: Graduate in any discipline. Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Transportation or Warehouse Management will be an advantage.
Experience 5–8 years of experience in logistics, transportation, warehouse or fleet management.
Experience handling company-owned vehicles and third-party transporters preferred.
Experience in vendor negotiation, fleet compliance and transportation cost control.
