Hiring: Design Intern
We're building Nekofi Studio — a small, in-house content and design team for Nekofi, India's first 100% Ethiopian specialty instant coffee brand. Kawaii × specialty.

Looking for a Design Intern who wants to own the visual system of a young lifestyle brand, not just push pixels on someone else's template.
What you'll actually design:
→ 100+ stickers (this is not an exaggeration — Nekofi is a sticker-forward brand)
→ Visual merchandise — totes, tees, patches, keychains, all the positive stuff
→ Pop-up and Nekofi Bar event collateral — posters, standees, table cards
→ Packaging — pod cartons, mailer inserts, thank-you cards
→ Regular social + website visuals — carousels, banners, PDP graphics
→ Illustrations across all of the above
You'll work directly with the founder (ex-creative director, 10 years in advertising) as part of Nekofi Studio.
Must-have:
- Fluent in illustration — pen and iPad both. Show us actual work.
- Fluent in Illustrator and Photoshop. Layout, image editing, vector work.
- Real understanding of print — keyline drawings, bleeds, GSM choices, finishes. If "300 GSM matte with spot UV" means nothing to you, this isn't the role.
- Familiar with AI tools in the design workflow — Nano Banana, Midjourney, whatever you use to move faster.
- Kawaii and cute visual language is second nature to you.
This is the vibe check. If your portfolio is all minimal-brutalist grids, we're not the fit.
Nice-to-have:
- Motion / After Effects basics
- Type design curiosity
- Photography instinct
Terms:
- Full-time internship
- Paid stipend, discussed at interview
- Remote / Delhi-NCR — hybrid case by case, in-person for events and shoots
- 6-month minimum engagement, extendable
- Public credit, portfolio rights, reference letter after 6 months
