About The Role
Our client, a growing UK-based business, is seeking an experienced Payroll & Finance Specialist to oversee its UK payroll process and support its day-to-day finance operations. The successful candidate will act as the primary liaison between the company, its employees, and the external payroll provider,



ensuring that all payroll inputs are accurate, outputs are thoroughly reviewed, and employee queries are resolved promptly. This role requires a deep understanding of UK payroll legislation, statutory payments, and pension administration, along with strong analytical and communication skills. The Payroll & Finance Specialist will not be involved in routine data entry but will own the payroll process, challenge discrepancies, and ensure employees are paid accurately and on time. Additionally, the role involves supporting accounts payable, invoicing, reconciliations, and maintaining financial records, making it a comprehensive position for a payroll subject-matter expert committed to accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess hands-on UK payroll experience, gained directly from working with a UK-based employer or a UK payroll bureau. A minimum of 3 to 5+ years of practical payroll knowledge is essential,
