- Role Summary

We are hiring a freelance, performance-focused video editor to turn raw UGC and lifestyle footage into conversion-driven Meta ads. This is not a cinematic or brand-film role. Success is measured by hook strength, retention, and the ability to produce multiple variations quickly so we can test and scale what performs.
- Key Responsibilities

· Edit direct-response ads optimized for Meta placements (Instagram Reels/Stories and Feed).

· Create multiple variants per concept (hooks, CTAs, pacing, captions, lengths).

· Deliver exports in 9:16 (Reels/Stories) and 4:5 (Feed).

· Add native-style captions, on-screen text, product callouts, light motion, and sound design.

· Ensure safe-zone compliance so text/logo/CTA are not covered by UI elements.





· Maintain clean file organization and naming conventions; share editable files if requested.
- What You Will Edit

Your edits should translate product features and benefits into fast, clear messages that sell. Typical angles include:

· Performance in water (reduced balloon/heavy feel through Gills) and comfort in/out of water.

· Modest coverage with freedom of movement and premium fit.

· Pool and beach lifestyle content (family-friendly, confident, premium).

· Explicit benefit callouts and offer framing (shipping, discount, bundles) when applicable.
- Deliverables & Output Expectations

Typical weekly output (depending on footage availability):

· 6 to 12 new ad variations per week.

· Per concept: 3 to 5 hook options (first 1 to 2 seconds), 2 to 3 CTA versions, and 2 to 3 lengths (e.g., 12–15s, 20–25s, 35–45s).

· Proven experience editing performance ads for Meta (DTC / eCommerce).

· Strong hook creation and pacing for retention (pattern
