Role Description
This is a full-time, in office Career Counselor role based in Kamrup Metropolitan. The Career Counselor will provide one-on-one and group counseling sessions to students, guiding them on academic choices, career paths, internships, and placement opportunities. The role involves conducting career development workshops, psychometric assessments, and information sessions on emerging career trends and industry requirements. The Career Counselor will collaborate with faculty members, placement teams,



and external organizations to align student aspirations with available opportunities. The role also includes maintaining counseling records, preparing guidance materials, and proactively supporting students through regular communication and follow-up.

Qualifications
- Strong skills in Career Counseling, Career Development, and Career Management to guide learners in planning and progressing in their professional journeys.
- Experience in Student Counseling, including academic guidance, personal adjustment support, and transition planning for higher studies or employment.
- Excellent Communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse student groups, explain complex information clearly, and conduct interactive sessions.
- Relevant academic background, such as a master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Education, Human Resources, or a related field.
