About the Role

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented
Business Backend & Data Management Intern
who can manage and maintain the company's day-to-day business records.

The intern will primarily work on
business data management, shipment-wise costing & profit tracking, basic accounting records, and sales/purchase records
for our
China-to-India import business and furniture hardware business
.

Key Responsibilities

1. China → India Shipment Management
- Maintain complete records of every China-to-India shipment.
- Record supplier purchase cost, freight, customs/duty, CHA/clearance charges, local transportation and other expenses.
- Maintain shipment-wise
total landed cost
.
- Record customer selling price and calculate
shipment-wise gross profit/loss
.
- Track payment status, supplier payments and customer receivables.




- Maintain shipment status from purchase/order to final delivery.
- Keep proper digital documentation of invoices, packing lists, freight bills and other shipment-related records.

2. Monthly Profit & Business Analysis
- Prepare monthly
profit & loss records
.
- Track total sales, purchases and business expenses.
- Calculate monthly profit/loss separately for different business activities.
- Maintain product-wise and customer-wise profitability where required.
- Prepare easy monthly business reports for management review.

3. Furniture Hardware Business
- Maintain purchase and sales records of hardware products.
- Maintain stock/inventory records.
- Record product-wise purchase price, selling price and margins.
- Track outstanding payments from customers and payments to suppliers.
- Maintain regular sales and purchase data.

4. Accounting & Backend Records
- Maintain daily business transactions in Excel/Google Sheets/acco
