JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Purpose

n

A qualified Chartered Accountant with approximately 3 years of post qualification hands-on experience in GST litigation, GST return filing, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of GST law, departmental procedures, and should be comfortable handling notices, appeals, and GSTR return workings preparation.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

Handle GST departmental audits, investigations, and queries from GST authorities.

n

Summarising and collating the GSTR return workings and preparation of notice reply requirements (e.g., SCNs, DRC-01A, ASMT, audit objections).

n

Assist in preparing and filing appeals before appellate authorities.

n

Coordinate with legal counsel in case of complex litigations.

n

Preparation of GST outward supplies workings and uploading of the same on the GST portal.

n

Monitoring of input tax credit and follow up with the respective departments for effective availment

n





Preparation of GST inward supplies workings ,ITC reconciliation and uploading of the same on the GST portal.

n

Reviewing of filed monthly GSTR 1 and GSTR 3 any differences brought to the knowledge of the management.

n

Reconciliation of GSTR 1, GSTR 3B with GSTR GSTR 9 & 9C

n

Liaising with statutory / internal auditors, etc. for timely completion of audits & implementing audit observations

n

Prepare and provide MIS reports, and GST ligation status tracker on time, as and when required

Qualification & Experience

CA - Min 3 years - post qualification

n

Functional Competencies

Strong understanding of all aspects of Accounting and GST including business processes and best practices with knowledge of SAP/ERP setting.

n

Exp in leading & managing automation / project of GST automation process

n

Exp in developing and maintaining internal control system

n
