We are an Adobe Commerce Solution Partner and Shopify Partner. Through our AI division, we also develop practical AI solutions for businesses and produce content through our own brand, The AI Shift.

Video is an important part of our work. We create product demonstrations, AI explainers, client case studies, social media content, podcast episodes and other marketing videos.

We are looking for a talented Video Editor & AI Video Producer who can take raw footage, AI-generated content, screen recordings, scripts and brand assets and turn them into polished, engaging and professional videos.

About the Role

As our Video Editor & AI Video Producer, you will be responsible for editing and producing high-quality content for our company, clients and digital channels.

This is not simply a basic editing role. We are looking for someone with strong creative judgement, technical editing skills and an understanding of modern AI video production.

You should be able to bring creative ideas to the editing process, maintain consistency across different projects and deliver high-quality work within agreed timelines.

Since much of our content is created for UK and international audiences, a good understanding of professional tone, pacing, visual communication and on-screen copy is important.

Key ResponsibilitiesProduct Demo Videos

· Edit screen recordings and software walkthroughs into clear and engaging product demonstrations.

· Add motion graphics, callouts, captions and visual elements where appropriate.

· Make technical information easy to understand visually.

AI & Client Videos

· Create AI-generated and avatar-led videos for clients.

· Work with AI video, voice and image-generation tools.

· Adapt content to different brands, audiences and creative requirements.

Social Media Content

· Create vertical videos for LinkedIn, YouTube Shorts and Instagram.

· Develop strong hooks, subtitles and engaging visual edits.

· Repurpose long-form content into short-form social content.

Podcast & Thought Leadership Content





· Edit long-form podcast and thought-leadership videos.

· Improve pacing, audio quality and overall presentation.

· Identify strong moments that can be converted into short-form content.

Case Studies & Pitch Videos

· Create polished videos for proposals, tenders, presentations and client-facing materials.

Brand Assets & Templates

· Create reusable intros, outros, lower thirds, title cards and other video templates.

· Maintain consistent branding across all video content.

Required Skills & ExperienceAdobe Creative Cloud — Essential

Strong experience with

· Adobe Premiere Pro — advanced editing, multi cam, colour correction and audio synchronization.

· Adobe After Effects — motion graphics, animated titles, call outs and basic 2D/3D animation.

· Adobe Audition — noise reduction, audio leveling and voice over cleanup.

· Adobe Media Encoder — professional export settings and platform-specific presets.

· Adobe Photo shop & Illustrator — thumbnails, asset preparation and brand-based design work.

AI Video Production — Essential

Hands-on experience with AI video and avatar platforms such as:

· Hey Gen

· Synthesia

· Runway

· Kling

· Sora

· Veo

· Or similar AI video platforms

Experience with AI voice and audio tools such as Eleven Labs or equivalent, including voice generation, voice cloning and dubbing, is highly desirable.

Experience with AI-assisted editing and captioning tools such as Descript, Submagic, CapCut or similar is also expected.

Experience with generative image tools such as Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, Flux or similar is an advantage.

Most importantly, you should understand when AI adds value and when it can make content look artificial or low quality. We want AI to be used thoughtfully and effectively.

General Skills

We are looking for someone with:

· Strong understanding of video pacing, typography, colour and sound design.

· Excellent attention to detail.

· Ability to follow brand guidelines and maintain visual consistency.

· Experience editing technical, software, ecommerce, SaaS or AI-related content.

· Strong written and verbal English communication skills.

· Ability to work independently and manage deadlines.

· A proactive and creative approach to editing.

· Ability to communicate clearly through Slack and email.





· Good understanding of content created for professional and international audiences.

Technical Requirements

You should have

· Your own workstation capable of handling professional 4K video editing.

· A valid Adobe Creative Cloud subscription.

· A stable and reliable internet connection suitable for transferring large files.

· Reliable availability during the agreed UK working-hour overlap.

Nice to Have

· Experience working with B2B, SaaS or agency clients.

· Experience creating content for UK or US audiences.

· Experience with ecommerce or software products.

· Basic sound design knowledge.

· Familiarity with Epidemic Sound, Artlist or similar music licensing platforms.

· Knowledge of subtitling and accessibility best practices.

· Experience creating content specifically for LinkedIn, YouTube and Instagram.

Our Working Process

· We provide the brief, script, raw footage/assets and reference examples.

· Typical turnaround is 3–5 working days per video.

· Social media cutdowns may require a faster turnaround.

· Feedback is generally provided in one or two rounds.

· Files are shared through Google Drive.

· Project communication is handled through email and Slack.

Selection Process

Applications will be reviewed based on portfolio quality, editing skills, AI production experience and overall suitability for the role.

If your profile is shortlisted, we will arrange a short introductory call to discuss your experience, availability, workflow and commercials.

The next stage will be a small paid test project. If the test is successful and both sides are comfortable, we can discuss an ongoing freelance engagement.

We are looking for someone who can combine strong traditional video-editing skills with modern AI production capabilities and consistently deliver professional, engaging content.
