FLOOR MANAGER – KALLARACKAL

About the Role

Kallarackal is looking for an experienced and responsible Floor Manager to oversee day-to-day floor operations, manage the sales team, ensure excellent customer service, and drive overall store performance.

The ideal candidate should have strong leadership and communication skills, a customer-focused approach, and the ability to manage a busy retail environment effectively.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and supervise the day-to-day activities on the sales floor.
- Lead, motivate, and monitor the performance of sales staff.
- Ensure customers receive excellent service and assistance throughout their shopping experience.
- Monitor daily sales and work towards achieving store and individual sales targets.
- Allocate staff responsibilities and ensure proper floor coverage.
- Handle customer queries, complaints, and escalations professionally.
- Ensure proper display, arrangement, and presentation of merchandise.
- Monitor stock availability and coordinate with the inventory/store team when required.
- Maintain discipline, grooming standards, and professional conduct among staff.
- Track sales performance and provide regular updates to the store management.
- Train new employees on customer service, product knowledge, and store procedures.
- Coordinate with the Store Manager and management team to improve store operations.




- Ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and maintained according to company standards.
- Support promotional activities, new product launches, and special sales campaigns.
- Identify operational issues and take timely corrective action.

Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales or floor management is preferred.
- Strong leadership and team-management skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer-oriented attitude.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced retail workplace.
- Good understanding of sales targets and retail operations.
- Ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
- Basic computer knowledge is an advantage.
- Candidates with experience in fashion, ladies' wear, lifestyle, or retail stores will be preferred.
