Role Description This is a full time, on-site Field Engineer role located in the Greater Kolkata Area.

The Field

Engineer will install, configure, and maintain network and IT infrastructure at client locations, ensuring stable and secure operations. The role includes performing diagnostics, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and providing on-site technical support to resolve incidents within agreed timelines.

Engineer will coordinate with project teams to assist in deployment activities, document work performed, and follow established processes and safety standards. Regular interaction with clients to understand requirements, provide status updates, and support handover and training is an integral part of the position.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting and Technical Support skills for network, hardware, and software issues.

- Candidates should possess effective Communication and Field Service skills to interact with clients and work on-site in diverse environments.

- Candidates should possess basic Project Management abilities to plan tasks, manage timelines, and coordinate with internal teams.

- Relevant knowledge of enterprise networking, routing and switching, and basic cybersecurity concepts is beneficial.

- Diploma or degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science, or related engineering field is preferred.

- Ability to travel within the Greater Kolkata Area, work in the field, and adapt to changing schedules and environments.

- Experience with installation and maintenance of IT infrastructure, and familiarity with documentation and reporting tools, is an advantage.
