Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the overall engineering activities for Oil & Gas and power infrastructure projects from design through execution and commissioning.

Manage multidisciplinary engineering teams covering Electrical, Instrumentation, Mechanical, Civil, Structural, Piping, and Process disciplines.

Review and coordinate engineering deliverables, drawings, calculations, specifications, datasheets, and technical documentation.

Provide engineering leadership for HV/EHV substations, electrical distribution systems, switchgear, transformers, protection and control systems.

Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, subcontractors, and internal project teams to ensure timely completion of engineering activities.

Manage engineering interfaces between Oil & Gas facilities and electrical/substation systems.

Review electrical system designs including SLDs, load schedules, equipment specifications, protection systems, cable schedules, earthing, lighting, and electrical layouts.

Ensure compliance with applicable international standards, client specifications, statutory requirements, and project engineering standards.

Participate in technical discussions, design reviews, HAZOP/HAZID and other project review meetings as required.

Identify engineering risks, technical issues, and project interfaces and ensure timely resolution.





Monitor engineering progress against project schedules and coordinate with project controls to ensure milestones are achieved.

Review and approve technical submissions, vendor documents, material specifications, and engineering change requests.

Support procurement and construction teams by resolving technical queries and providing engineering clarifications.

Coordinate with site teams during installation, testing, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and handover.

Ensure engineering activities are executed in accordance with HSE, quality, cost, and schedule requirements.

Manage changes, deviations, technical clarifications, and client comments throughout the project lifecycle.

Support project management in cost control, resource planning, forecasting, and project reporting.

Mentor and guide engineering teams and ensure effective coordination across disciplines.

Oil & Gas Experience The candidate should have experience in projects involving one or more of the following:

Oil & Gas plants / refineries / petrochemical facilities

Gas processing / gas distribution facilities

Terminals and pipeline projects

Upstream / downstream projects

Oil & Gas EPC / EPCM projects

Brownfield and greenfield projects

Electrical infrastructure supporting Oil & Gas facilities
