The intern must be proficient in SolidWorks, with a robust ability to create basic manufacturing drawings and assist cross-functional teams. We are looking for a candidate who brings a foundational understanding of Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and the engineered design process. You will apply core engineering and scientific principles to iteratively develop concepts into functional models.

We value a candidate who has some practical experience whether through projects or internships and understands how to design parts that are ready for the shop floor.

Requirements

- B.E / B.Tech pursuing or recently completed (Aerospace / Mechanical Engineering).

- Experience in designing and 3D printing functional aerospace components or mechanical systems through previous projects or internships.

- Design engineered concepts using SolidWorks with a focus on manufacturability.

- Create basic manufacturing drawings.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project development.

- Develop functional prototypes through rapid prototyping tools and techniques.

- Perform analytical calculations to validate design integrity and performance.

- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and Bill of Materials (BOM).
