About the Role

As an Admission Counsellor at Indian Startup School (ISS), you will engage with aspiring founders, entrepreneurs, and specialists exploring ISS programs. You will understand their background, aspirations, business ideas, and goals, and guide them toward the right program.

Key Responsibilities
Connect with prospective applicants through calls, WhatsApp, email and meetings.
Understand applicant profiles, aspirations and startup/business ideas.
Clearly communicate ISS programs, ecosystem, perks and opportunities.
Handle queries and objections and guide applicants through the admission process.
Conduct consistent follow-ups to convert qualified leads into enrollments.
Maintain accurate records of leads, applications, follow-ups,



and payments.
Coordinate with Venture Scouts and Operations teams for a seamless applicant journey.
Achieve assigned admission and conversion targets.

Who You Are
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Confident, persuasive, and empathetic.
Strong follow-up and relationship-building abilities.
Interest in startups, entrepreneurship or business education.
Comfortable working in a target-driven environment.
Mindset with minimum 1 year experience: Outstanding counselling is about understanding the applicant, building trust and helping them make the right decision.
