Key Responsibilities

- Assess the existing D2C technology stack, margin structures, fulfillment costs and operating model.
- Identify opportunities to improve profitability and scalability.
- Recommend actionable interventions to strengthen D2C unit economics.
- Conduct a comprehensive assessment of current D2C operations.
- Evaluate Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), retention/LTV, UI/UX and conversion rate (CR).
- Identify industry best practices and growth opportunities.
- Develop and support implementation of a standardized D2C Growth Playbook tailored to Beauty and Personal Care categories.
- Review the existing D2C team structure and operating model.
- Design a scalable organization structure capable of supporting multiple high-growth D2C brands.
- Identify capability gaps across the D2C organization.
- Recommend the optimal balance between in-house and outsourced capabilities.
- Work closely with internal D2C and business leaders to translate recommendations into actionable initiatives.
- Develop a practical 90-day implementation roadmap covering priorities,



actions and sequencing.
- Act as a strategic advisor to senior stakeholders rather than functioning purely as an execution partner.

Skills Required

Skills and Experience

- 10+ years of overall experience in D2C, e-commerce, digital growth, strategy consulting or related areas.
- Robust experience working with Brand.com / D2C businesses, preferably in Beauty, Personal Care or other mass-market consumer categories.
- Proven track record of advising businesses on profitable D2C growth and scaling.
- Experience in Indian e-commerce, including understanding of D2C unit economics and emerging channels.
- Demonstrated experience in CAC optimization, retention/LTV, conversion optimization and D2C operations.
- Experience in organizational design, capability assessment and operating-model transformation.
- Prior experience working with senior business leaders as a strategic advisor.
