Position Description

Role Overview

As a Consultant Software Engineer, you will be responsible to design, implement and optimize the scalable, secure and highly available software solutions in cloud and on premise infrastructure platforms. You will closely collaborate with applications engineers, security and architecture and operations teams to build platforms that support the Technical and business requirement of the Organization.

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for understanding the software requirements and developing it into a working source code accordingly. Solve technical challenges and understand the functional scope. Provide design and solutions for the business needs with adherence to coding standards.

Perform code reviews across DevOps, platform, automation repositories to ensure quality, security, performance and optimizations Own production's reliability, availability and performance including incident response, Root cause analysis etc. Collaborate with the product owners and engineering teams to groom backlog and refine user stories. Collaborate with multi platform/region teams on providing technical leadership, design reviews and hands own support Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex issues in production environments.

Operating under a 'follow the sun' model, providing on call coverage within a global rotation. Implement data quality checks, validation rules, and monitoring frameworks to ensure accuracy and reliability of metrics.

Required Skills &

Qualifications

Strong experience in developing APIs using python flask and fastAPI framework. Expertise in API development & integration including RESTful APIs, versioning and documentation. Strong experience conducting code reviews and enforcing coding standards and best practices.

Strong experience in version control systems (Git) and CI/CD tools preferably Github actions.



Familiarity with frontend frameworks like REACT primarily for internal tools, dashboards or platform interfaces. Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases for data storage and retrieval.

Experience with data quality frameworks and monitoring tools.

Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes). Strong analytical skills and ability to work in an agile development workplace. Excellent analytical, communication and collaboration skills. Exposure to banking domain is a plus.

Education &

Experience

12 years of experience in full stack Developer role. Engineering graduate / MCA / Computer Science Graduate or PG

Nice to Have: Experience working in hybrid or multi cloud environments.
