Summary

As a Cloud Platform Engineer, a typical day involves designing and constructing cloud-based application solutions that seamlessly integrate both cloud and traditional infrastructure components. The role includes testing and deploying these solutions to ensure they meet performance and security standards. Additionally, the engineer develops and implements infrastructure and platform environments, often creating proof of architecture models to validate the feasibility and robustness of proposed designs.

Collaboration with various teams to align technical solutions with organizational goals is also a key part of the daily routine.

Roles & Responsibilities:

- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.




- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the evaluation and implementation of new cloud technologies to enhance platform capabilities.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in cloud architecture, security, and compliance.
- Mentor junior team members to support their skilled growth and skill development.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in AWS Glue.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure deployment and management.
- Strong knowledge of cloud security principles and best practices.
- Ability to design scalable and reliable cloud architectures.
- Familiarity with automation and orchestration tools in cloud environments.
- Experience in troubleshooting and optimizing cloud-based applications.

Additional Information
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in AWS Glue.
- This position is based at our BBDC1A - NON-STPI office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
