About Boli ChetoBoli Cheto Foundation is a Section 8 non-profit working on indigenous language revitalisation and open knowledge, closely engaged with the Wikimedia Movement in India. Our work centers on underrepresented communities, their languages, and their cultures.
About the RoleWe're looking for two interns to work directly out of the CEO's office and support day-to-day operations. This is a high-intensity, high-learning role, you'll be working closely with a small, highly energetic core team and the CEO, getting exposure to how a non-profit actually runs: strategy, communications, documentation, coordination, and execution.
This isn't a passive observership. You'll be expected to take ownership of tasks, move fast, and learn on the job.
What You'll Do
- Support the CEO in day-to-day operational, administrative, and coordination tasks
- Help prepare presentations, reports, and communication material (Canva, G Suite)
- Assist in organizing and tracking ongoing projects and timelines
- Coordinate with team members and external stakeholders as needed
- Take on ad hoc responsibilities as the organization's needs evolve
Who Should ApplyIdeal candidates:
- Students who have completed (or are completing) a Master's in Social Work or a related domain
Also encouraged to apply:
- Candidates from other academic backgrounds who can demonstrate genuine enthusiasm for the non-profit sector and a strong willingness to learn
Skills you should bring:
- Basic understanding of the non-profit sector
- Working knowledge of Canva
- Comfort with G Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive, etc.)
- Strong ownership, reliability, and communication
