Role Description The Cashier role is a full-time, on-site position based in Mathura. The Cashier will handle daily cash transactions, process payments, issue receipts, and maintain accurate records of all financial dealings. This role includes balancing cash drawers, reconciling daily sales, and ensuring that all transactions comply with organizational policies and procedures.

The Cashier will respond to inquiries,



provide courteous service to visitors and community members, and support basic administrative tasks related to payments and registrations. The position requires consistent attention to detail, reliability, and adherence to ethical and financial standards.

Qualifications

- Strong numerical ability and attention to detail, with experience handling cash, payments, and basic accounting or record-keeping.
- Comfort using point-of-sale systems, computers, and basic office software (such as spreadsheets and databases) for transaction recording.
- Clear and respectful communication skills, with the ability to assist visitors, alumni, and staff in a qualified and supportive manner.
- Ability to work on-site in Mathura full time, manage time effectively, and maintain reliability in daily operations.
- Prior experience in a cashier, front-desk, or customer-facing administrative role is preferred.
- Basic educational qualification in commerce, finance, or a related field is an advantage, though relevant experience will also be considered.
